David Goldweitz is a Partner at KSDT, bringing more than 40 years of experience in tax, accounting, and advisory services. He focuses his practice on serving high-net-worth individuals and has specialized expertise across the hospitality, technology, real estate, legal, and healthcare industries. David has advised both public and private emerging growth companies and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, business valuations, and IRS Section 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchanges. In addition, he is highly regarded for his work in litigation support and business mediation, trained both as a Certified Family Mediator and as a Neutral Financial Professional in the Collaborative Divorce process.

Prior to joining KSDT, David built his own successful practice and worked with several large, well-regarded CPA firms. He has also been a guest lecturer at Miami-Dade College and the University of Miami and appeared on CBS4-Miami to provide expert commentary on tax reform. David has served on the Merrill Lynch Client Advisory Board – Miami Beach and was an approved instructor for the NASD on broker-dealer accounting.

David is deeply committed to his community, having served for more than 20 years on the executive board of the Children’s Bereavement Center. He currently serves on the Board of the South Dade Branch of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and has previously held leadership roles with the Federation’s planning and budgeting committee, its Young Adult Division, and as a trustee of Greenfield Day School.

A licensed CPA in the State of Florida and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).
